Welcome To Cell Phone Plans & Service
When you buy a cellphone, you should ask yourself, what do I need it for? Do I plan on doing a lot of texting or Web-Browsing? Can I check my e-mail? Do I want a phone I can download music on? Is it going to be for business or for personal use? When you make these decisions finding a phone won't be too difficult. At least it wasn't for me.
I recently did a lot of research on what would best suit my needs. I ended up buying two phones. I bought the Motorola Droid and the Blackberry Tour 9630 Smartphone. One is for personal use and the other is for business. I also researched different cell phone companies and which one would suit me better. There are a lot of cellphone plans and service available so it really depended upon which phone I wanted and how much I wanted to pay.

I decided to go with Verizon. They have the Unlimited Talk & Text Cellphone Plan that was perfect for me. The price was unbelievable. I also checked the plans with AT&T (Cingular) and decided against them even though they have the Apple iPhone. The first cell phone I ever had was through T-Mobile. The service was alright but the prices were expensive. I have never used Sprint, but I found that they didn't have the phone I really wanted which was the Google Nexus One. There are more and more off the wall cell phone companies coming onto the scene like Metro PCS. They only have service in certain areas. For example, if you purchase a phone through them in Georgia you can only use it in Georgia and Florida. In Maryland there is a company called Cricket, their service is also limited to certain areas. If you travel a lot then I would suggest that you go with Verizon or AT&T which have the better coverage across the United States.
